Description

Cantelupine Ponies are a species of pony with living wolf head tails. 

The ponies have slit pupils, and are most commonly short haired. The wolf head is often fluffy, but can be short haired. 
The lower half of the pony sometimes shows wolf characteristics; dew claws, paws and paws can be seen in rare cases. 

The relationship of the pony and wolf head is a strong bond, one of an alliance more than friendship. They work together to achieve a task.
The ponies and wolf heads are very well mannered. They are kind, loyal and passionate. When aggravated, the wolf head will clearly bare it's teeth as defense and warning.

These ponies make excellent hunters, with the nimble quiet steps of pony hooves and hearing and eyesight of a wolf making a great combination. 
They are omnivores, with the wolf's choice of food being meat and preferably fresh caught game.
